New Patients at Antioch Chiropractic Center
Welcome to our practice! Relax and be comfortable in our space; we’re here to help you. All patients receive the same quality care and treatment, regardless of age or situation. Most of our patients are referred by those who have been successfully treated.
The Initial Consultation
The initial consultation will run approximately 30-45 mins. When you arrive, you’re greeted by our friendly office staff, who will make sure your paperwork is complete. They’ll bring you into the consultation room; once you review Dr. Cross’ credentials and qualifications, you’ll know you’re in the right place.
When Dr. Cross comes into the room, he’ll introduce himself and listen to your story. Some patients come in feeling hopeless; sure they will never get better. They’ve tried other treatments, without success, and are resigned to their fate.
Dr. Cross understands your frustration and wants you to know chiropractic can help. After your consultation, he will give you a thorough examination. If the condition warrants, he might give some treatment to reduce discomfort.
When You Return
On your next visit, Dr. Cross will give his report of findings. He’ll go over what you came in for, what the actual problem is and the degree of discomfort you’re experiencing. He will also discuss the normal and abnormal findings from the exam.
Dr. Cross explains everything using pictures, books and a replica of the spine. He wants to ensure complete understanding of the problem, the findings and the treatment plan. ‘We’re going to do this, you have to do that’, according to your plan.
The frequency of treatment depends on the severity of your condition. Short-term and long-term goals are established; you will receive your first adjustment at this time.
Finances
Payment is discussed with our office staff prior to starting treatment. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Aetna, Medicare and all major credit cards. Payment is requested at the time of treatment. We’re in the process of establishing Chiro USA as another option for the future.
