Meet Dr. James Cross
Dr. James Cross has always regarded health and physical well-being as important. He showcased this during his time as a competitive wrestler and weight lifter. His love of sports led him to pursue a degree in Physical Education. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
After teaching for several years in Waukegan, IL, he decided to return to school. He attended the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. While there, Dr. Cross would earn another Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1979.
Never Stop Learning
Dr. Cross never stops looking for answers to his patient’s issues, so he continues to pursue opportunities for learning. He completed postdoctoral studies at the Spine Research Institute in San Diego, CA. Earning a master certification in cervical spine trauma, Dr. Cross has added another level of expertise enabling him to better deal with injuries of this nature.
Serving His Country
Dr. Cross is proud to have served in the Navy, seeing active duty, as well as spending time in the reserve, during the Vietnam War.
Helping His Community for Over 40 Years
Living in this area all his life, has made for a strong community connection. Building one of the largest practices in Lake County, Dr. Cross practiced in Mundelein, IL for over 25 years. Relocating to Antioch allows him to be closer to his office in order for his patients to have greater and more immediate access for help when they need his services.
Now semi-retired, Dr. Cross continues to provide service to his community. His commitment to treating every patient with the same level of care and concern remains the same.
